“still teaching. Just differently”

I believe In:

The power of education to change lives.

The value and importance of my voice in the teacher blog-o-sphere.

Peanut butter for dessert.

I started The Elevated Teacher Edit because I couldn’t find the space I was looking for. So I built it.

There are plenty of places online for teachers. Places to find lesson plans, classroom hacks, organizational systems, and bulletin board inspiration. Those spaces matter. But I was looking for something different.

I was looking for a space that assumed teachers are as complex and interesting as the work they do. A space for educators who care deeply about their students, but also about books, design, travel, style, relationships, and the lives they are building beyond the classroom.

I wanted a place where conversations about teaching could sit comfortably alongside conversations about beauty, purpose, and what it means to live a thoughtful life.

This is my attempt to create that space.
